THE SOURCING MATERIAL

First of all, I want to brief about the meaning of the sourcing material. Sourcing material is the place where you can get the information. Information are divided into three levels which are single-fact information, General information, and In-depth information. To find all of this three level information, we have to know how to locate the sources.

For example we can find the information from the Internet, such as e-Journals, search engines, group discussion forum, and online discussion journals. Whether you are workers or students, you can just surf the browser and used them as source to find the ideas of your findings. In addition, it makes you more easier because Internet can be access everywhere and everytime as long as you are connected to the network.

The next point , we can look for periodicals as it contain the writings of people who share their particular of study.. For example, we can get the information from journal, specialised magazines and newspapers. Besides, we can also use the theses and dissertation and books to find the information. But it is more costly compared to have  an Internet as the source.

In conclusion, we can have the idea in just a second if we smart in choosing the source! So start to find an idea from each of the sources mentioned above as your additional materials in your project. Have a try guys! :')

All about The Plagiarism

      

The second class of elc, we still have the same feeling awesome to attend ourselves in this lecture! and today our pretty lecturer, Prof, Dr. Krishnakumari gave the lecture about plagiarism.. you guess what? I though I am the one who has been include myself in this crime.. uh, crime? Okay let me made a reflection about what I have learned.

      Plagiarism is defined as stealing or copying other people's written work. At first we have told about the examples of plagiarism which include copying, substituting words, incorrect paraphrasing, , copying arguments, incorrect citing sources and many other examples.

      Besides, the plagiarism gives negative feedback to those who has done this crime. First, this will show us to have a low integrity. In addition, if we are students, this will produce low level of confidence students to build and create their own ideas and opinion rather than just copy and paste the people's written. It not just that, it will show unhonest people. To having the trust, we should grade ourselves to be honest even there is a little thing! :')

     In conclusion, as we have mentioned Plagiarism gave negative impact especially to students, I hope we can change our behaviour together...

English for Academic Writing Scene

The first class of Academic writing, my friends and I went to class with happy face.. Yahaa.. Its normal for every student to have this feeling too.. My lecturer named Prof. Dr. Krishnakumari Karuthan.. 

The students were introduced about the writing skill and course information. In this course students need to have more practice on writing to improve the skill. I am very bad in writing and the thing that I just hate is writing. But I am trying with creating a blog and I have started to write whatever I want and I can write anything that I like. That was so interesting! And now, my hobby has changed to be a blogger,, haha :D  

Even my grammar was too bad, but Prof. said that we can improved if we just write everyday, jote down everything the point, and especially every new words that we have never heard. Besides, we can add the new words in our vocabulary so that our writing will be more better next time!
